Clark Toole oversees the operations of Florida’s largest residential real estate company, which does business as Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS®. With more than 86 offices and over 5,100 sales associates, the brokerage closed over $12.7 billion in Florida residential sales in 2014. Clark also acts as president of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in Florida, which offers five offices and more than 100 sales associates. The company real estate services include residential, commercial, new development, property management, lease-only and relocation.

Clark has earned a reputation for strong leadership, focusing on how technology can help sales associates provide truly remarkable service. Over the past two years, he has expanded the company’s footprint through more than 10 acquisitions, reaching into new markets like Melbourne and strengthening presence in existing markets. With all this progress, Clark was recognized as one of the Swanepoel Power 200 most powerful people in residential real estate.

He aggressively built relationships with international brokers and real estate professionals in cities around the globe to promote Florida’s benefits, including attractive deals, a strong business climate and favorable exchange rates. He began hosting Coldwell Banker Master Affiliates from Canada, Europe and South America to discuss the vast opportunities Florida real estate and commerce offers their clients.

Prior to joining the Florida team in 2007, Clark served as president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Dallas/Fort Worth. He built a strong sales culture that, even today, continues to focus on skill development at every level of the company’s 19 locations and nearly 1,400 associates.

Prior to his leadership in Texas, Clark was regional president of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Tampa Bay Region and Sarasota Bay Region, Florida, where he oversaw 37 offices and 1,850 sales associates. During that time, he was instrumental in Coldwell Banker’s acquisition of Arvida, a multibillion-dollar brokerage in Florida and the largest real estate acquisition in history. He is also a past president of the Clearwater Association of Realtors®.

Clark began his real estate career in Florida in 1975, selling homes to pay his way through graduate school, where he earned an MBA in real estate and marketing. He also managed seven different sales offices before advancing into executive leadership.
